Utilizing the cyclonic turbulence inside the tank, as soon as the vacuum is turned-on the loose fitting filter media begins to shake and flutter - Naturally
> Without using electronics or manual filter shaking
> Kept in a constant state of shaking and fluttering motion, dry powders are kept from accumulating onto its surface - which causes suction drop

Additional Features of the Flutter Filter include:

Floating Filter Cage - Attached inside the Flutter Filter, the free-swinging filter cage also utilizes the turbulence inside the tank to bang and knock itself against the filter media and the inside walls of the tank. And just the filter's loose fitting media, the constant motion of the Floating Cage further enhances the filter's self-cleaning action.

Bean Bag - Stitched to the bottom of the filter media, when the vacuum is turned-on the bean bag is pulled upwards inside the Floating Filter Cage and it remains there until the vacuum is turned-off. Then, it falls which causes the media to snap-off any powder that may have accumulated on the filter's surface.

Hold-Down Vacuum for CNC Fabrication - Its Most Challenging Application. In this application, expensive vacuum pumps are typically used to hold down parts or templates for the precise cutting, grinding and drilling of parts in manufacturing. Referencing the pictures below, two TP-12 machines are used with PVC piping beneath a work table as a low cost alternative to traditional vacuum pumps.
