FLUTTER Filter Baskets

Enables a vacuum to be used without filter collection bags -

Maintains the vacuum's high suction performance without using electronic pulsing, cyclones, manual filter shaking or collection bags.

High Efficiency - Also keeps the HEPA Cartridge Filter Clean

Using no electronics pulsing, manual shaking or collection bags - the vacuum's high power suction performance is maintained as the Flutter Filter Basket is in constant & rapid flutter motion.

Using the vacuum's own spiraling turbulence inside the collection tank, as soon as the vacuum is turned-on the Flutter Filter begins its rapid and constant fluttering. By constantly and rapidly fluttering, dust isn't able to accumulate (cake) onto the surface of the Flutter Filter - keeping its large surface area free from dust caking.

Flutter Filter Basket: 96.5% Efficiency @ 0.3 microns. Uses vacuum's turbulence to constantly flutter, to keep the filter from blinding. Any attempt at caking is prevented by its constantly fluttering, shaking and knocking motion - Enabling the Vacuum to Maintain its Powerful Suction ~ NATURALLY.

No Extra (and expensive) Electronics are used or Manual Filter Shaking is required to "un-cake" the filter's surface. Additionally, the Flutter Filter is completely re-useable and washable for long life.

30" Dual Rubber Blade Floor Squeegee. Designed specifically for vacuuming concrete slurry during grinding and cutting operations.

Soft rubber notched front blade directs slurry inwards towards the vacuum's suction stream.

EPA LEAD PAINT RULING / VACUUM CONVERSION

How Dust Director Vacuums meet EPA RRP HEPA Filtration Standards

So what does the EPA mean by a HEPA vacuum cleaner? EPA's Lead RRP HEPA Vacuum

On April 22nd, 2010, the Environmental Protection agency's Lead RRP ( 40 CFR, Part 745, Subpart E) went into effect. The new rule requires contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child card facilities, and schools built before 1978 to be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Among these required work practices are the use of a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner, to minimize dust and thoroughly clean the work area.

According to the rule:

Walls must be cleaned starting at the ceiling and working-down to the floor by either vacuuming with a HEPA vacuum or wiping with a damp cloth.
Remaining surfaces are to be cleaned by thoroughly vacuuming all remaining surfaces and objects in the work area, including furniture and fixtures, with a HEPA vacuum. The HEPA vacuum must be equipped with a beater bar when vacuuming carpets and rugs.
The use of machines that remove lead-based paint through high speed operation such as sanding, grinding, power planning, needle gun, abrasive blasting, or sandblasting, is prohibited unless such machines are used with HEPA exhaust control.

Also, What what does the EPA mean by a HEPA vacuum cleaner? In 40 CFR 745.83, the EPA states:

"HEPA vacuum means a vacuum cleaner which has been designed with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter as the last filtration stage. A HEPA filter is a filter that is capable of capturing particles of 0.3 microns with 99.97% efficiency. The vacuum cleaner must be designed so that all the air drawn into the machine is expelled through the HEPA filter with none of the air leaking past it."
