Specifications.

	2-Stage Bypass Motors.  Motor have been specifically selected to optimize the vacuum's suction power within the power restrictions of our 110 volt electrical system.  Motors are designed to operate on standard 15 or 20 amp residential circuits and small generators of 3000 watts or less, with properly gauged extension cords.
	Lightweight, Flexible, Durable Vacuum Hoses.  1-1/2" x 12' hose for easy handling and maneuvering - with a smooth bore interior for increased air flow.
	2" Inlet Tank Port.  The vacuums include a 1-1/2" hose but 2" hoses are available and are recommended when longer hose lengths are required, such as floor grinding or working overhead while the vacuum remains on the ground.

2 & 3-Motors vs. a 1-Motor Vacuum.

	Twice the Suction Power - with a simple flick of the switch.  If you put your hand at the end of the hose, you'll feel a noticeable difference with 2 motors.
	2-Motors Handle the Unexpected.  Two motor power is your lowest cost solution for handling those unique job site situations which seem to always occur.
	Making Wider Cuts on the Same Joint.  When cutting concrete or mortar joints, you most effective dust control will always be with one pass of the blade.  When wider cuts are required (having to make 2 or 3 passes on the same joint), the 2nd motor's power absolutely will compensate for dust that will escape when attempting to make additional cuts on the same joint.
	Compensates for Caked Filters.  Extra power always overcomes a caked filter . . . If the vacuum's filter is dirty or caked, instead of taking the time to disassemble the vacuum and clean the filter, often by simply turning-on the motors you'll regain 100% suction power.
	Longer Hose Lengths.  All the Dust Director vacuums are equipped with a 2" hose inlet on the tank.  With the option of using a 2" hose, you'll increase the vacuum's suction power 100%!

Horse Power Rating.

	Compare the vacuum's CFM & Static Water Lift (H²0) rating.  These are the true indicators of a vacuum's suction power - as opposed to horsepower (HP) rating.  When ideally matched, CFM and H20 (water lift) are what creates the powerful suction you need for extracting ultra-fine powders.
	Inexpensive wet/dry vacuums, claiming 6.0 to 8.0 HP is a very misleading statement.  Peak horsepower ratings are the maximum output of a motor - as determined by laboratory testing.  Since a vacuum operating at peak horsepower is outside the normal operating range of a motor, it is not a true indicator of a vacuum's actual air power. What matters is CFM and H20 - they are the true measurements of how a vacuum harnesses its power.
	ICS uses only the finest in 2-stage bypass motors from Ametek-Lamb Electric in all of our vacuums.  Our motors have been specifically researched to optimize suction power, within the power restrictions of 110 volts.

	Longer Life Carbon Brush Wear. We like to think that it is a combination of using the finest in by-pass motors and our AIRFlow® Hepa Filtration System.  The average replacement seems to 2 years of extreme use, before customers are replacing the brushes.  High quality USA motors, operate efficiently and at considerably cooler temperatures with the non-blinding AIRFlow HEPA Filtration.  Resulting in completely reliable and long lasting motors and brush wear.
	Durable Tanks (3 Types).  Molded of high impact plastic with 1/4" and thicker wall construction, the tanks resist chemical attacks, corrosion, dent and scratch resistant while maintaining a professional appearance.  Their no-tip wide base design features a low center of gravity for excellent stability.  Even our 17 gallon steel tank has reinforced ribbing for handling higher suction lifts and its flat bottom makes it extremely valuable for use on scaffold.  (The tank is further protected by the side rails on its HD transport cart.)
	Maneuverability / Portability.  HD transport carts are included with the 17 and 24 gallon tanks, complete with 8" rubber wheels and 3" HD casters.
